UH Pacific Business Center receives a $490,000 grant to assist minority-owned businesses on Oahu 

(Honolulu, HI)—The Honolulu Minority Business Development Center (MBDC) has been established at the University of Hawaii’s Pacific Business Center to provide business consultation to minority-owned businesses on Oahu. The $490,000 two-year grant, from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency, will be used to provide assistance to promising minority-owned businesses in Honolulu. “One of our key goals is to help rapid growth potential minority-owned businesses on Oahu reach their full capacity”, reported Dr. Failautusi Avegalio, MBDC Executive Director, and Pacific Business Center Director.
